If you are looking to rent a condo in Sukhumvit near to the BTS and international schools, many exclusive condos are found in the Thong Lor, Phrom Phong and Ekkamai areas. In these areas there are a selection of Western- and Japanese-style restaurants and high-end entertainment venues that make the area one of the most sophisticated and attractive locations to live in.
In Phrong Phong there is the Emporium, a prestigious, luxury shopping mall, and K Village and open-air mall with boutique and lifestyle restaurants, bars, cafes, coffee shops and a market. In the evening there are many British and Irish pubs, such as The Dubliner, the Robin Hood and the Royal Oak. There is a selection of high-end bars, nightclubs and restaurants on soi 33.
This area is highly desirable for those with children, as there are many international schools such as Bangkok International Preparatory Secondary School, Trinity International School and Wells International. The Harrow International School Early Years Centre (EYC) offers a high quality, caring educational environment for its pupils and is a branch of a British institution on soi 63 for kids ages 2-7. The main campus, Harrow International School Bangkok, is in Don Muang and is organised into: Lower School (from Little Lions to K2) and the Pre-Prep (Infants and Juniors, Y1 to Y5) and the Upper School which incorporates the Preparatory School (Y6 to Y8), the Senior School (Y9 to Y11) and the Sixth Form (Y12 & Y13).
